David Birnbaum is known in academic circles as the author of the Summa Metaphysica series: an overarching metaphysics.
He is a graduate of Yeshiva Dov Revel, Yeshiva University High School, CCNY and Harvard. He has taught at the New School for Social Research in New York. He lives and works in Manhattan.
