He declared the whole universe, mind and matter, to be a manifestation of the pine Being\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. for nothing can be separated from God; all things are rather forms in which God reveals Himself\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Note the following from Encyclopedia Judaica:<\/p>\n<p>BASIC IDEAS OF HASIDISM<br \/>\nCreator and Universe<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcThe hasidic leader R. Menahem Mendel of Lubavich observes (<em>Derekh Mitzvotekha<\/em> (1911), 123) that the disciples of the Ba\u00e2\u20ac\u2122al Shem Tov gave the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153very profound\u00e2\u20ac\u009d turn to the doctrine of the oneness of God so that it means not alone that He is unique, as the medieval thinkers said, but that He is all that is:\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6there is no other existence whatsoever apart from His existence, blessed be He.
