One might either reference a detail from the Torah and use it merely to introduce a concept that is otherwise unrelated to biblical principles. The former approach uses the bible artificially as a veneer to make foreign concepts palatable. The latter, clearly the method of this author, reflects a natural comfort with the Torah. This author does not employ the Torah as an afterthought to build an argument; rather, to him the Torah is a primary source for this novel metaphysics. He discerns key metaphysical themes permeating the Torah.<\/p>\n

After all, before creation there was nothing more than G-d and potential.<\/p>\n

6<\/sup> Equation mode: The equation mode is a world well known in science: a world of positives and negatives, good and bad, right and wrong. Our lives exist on this continuum and our decisions determine our position. Neutrality is elusive, and human action will generally influence the direction in which we move.<\/p>\n

7<\/sup> Modes A: The author uses these four modes as an explanatory vehicle. There have been a spectrum of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcmodes\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 in the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcrun\u00e2\u20ac\u201cup\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 to today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s reality.<\/p>\n

8<\/sup> Modes B: Modes are not replaced by subsequent modes. All exist today. One mode will simply overlay the preceding one, as the universe is mode more textured and nuanced. The individual whose perception allows him to penetrate that which is immediately apparent on the surface, will discern inter\u00e2\u20ac\u201crelated universal constructs unifying all. The penetrating mind will thus find some level of universality behind the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s complexity.<\/p>\n

9<\/sup> Modes C: Under Birnbaum\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s schema, the divine achieves \u00e2\u20ac\u0153full flower\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at the infinite \u00e2\u20ac\u2122end\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 of the process\u00e2\u20ac\u201d as opposed to the \u00e2\u20ac\u2122beginning\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 of the process. We individually and cumulatively aim and advance towards an \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Infinite Perfection\/Extraordinariation.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

It is this Infinite Potential Perfection which pulls all forwards (and, indeed, into existence itself) …just as it is this
\ninexorable Drive for Potential which drives the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcadvance\u00e2\u20ac\u2122,
\nbecause Q4P is SPIRAL with elements of circularity …and therefore both \u00e2\u20ac\u0153pulling\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as well as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153pushing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d simultaneously.<\/p>\n

10<\/sup> Communicative A: In Orot Teshuva<\/em>, Rav Kook writes that with sin man experienced detachment from fellow creatures. Man becomes isolated and alone until he repents. Rav Kook reasonably points to a familiar emotional response\u00e2\u20ac\u201d the \u00e2\u20ac\u2122outsiderness\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 associated with sin or failure. With regard to this he writes: \u00e2\u20ac\u009dIt is impossible to express this vastly profound concept.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The author\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s principle that all creation is communicative, provides insight into how such feelings arise.<\/p>\n

11<\/sup> Communicative B: Considering Rav Kook\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s spiritual observation in light of the author\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s framework, it can be concluded that when an individual sins\u00e2\u20ac\u201d failing to advance towards his potential\u00e2\u20ac\u201d the collective cosmos objects to this action, and the individual senses this dissatisfaction. In the fourth chapter of his Orot Teshuva Rabbi Kook writes: \u00e2\u20ac\u009dThe individual and the collective soul, the world soul, the soul of all realms of being cries out like a fierce lioness in anguish for total perfection, for an ideal form of existence, and we feel the pain, and it purges us… And the soul grows toward perfection.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Thus, Rav Kook (a man of astonishing spiritual sensitivity) detected a sort of global inter\u00e2\u20ac\u201ccommunication that was driving man towards his potential and spiritual perfection.
