One can never PROVE a metaphysics.<\/p>\n

By definition.<\/p>\n

Because one would have to stand outside the entire cosmos to view it all-<\/p>\n

and simulate Creation itself \u00e2\u20ac\u201c to test it all<\/p>\n

However one can certainly ASSESS different metaphysics.<\/p>\n

Metaphysics is always hypothesis. But, hopefully very, very intelligent hypothesis.<\/p>\n

One can, indeed, analyze different metaphysical constructs with a consistent set of questions.<\/p>\n

*<\/div>\n

Now, some of the questions involved in assessing various metaphysics might be the following: (These questions tend to overlap, but have different thrusts and nuance.)<\/p>\n

Is the metaphysics overarching? All-embracing?<\/p>\n

Does the metaphysics handle the key questions in philosophy? (re-capped in the INTROS and FOREWORDS of the two books of this series)<\/p>\n

Does the metaphysics have a fatal flaw(s);
\na major gap(s),<\/p>\n

– or does it essentially legitimately \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcstitch-together\u00e2\u20ac\u2122
\nall the key issues<\/p>\n

*<\/div>\n

To what extent is the metaphysics TETHERED to classic works or spiritual texts?<\/p>\n

*<\/div>\n

Does the core of the metaphysics RESONATE within us?<\/p>\n

*<\/div>\n

Is the case made exclusively \u00e2\u20ac\u0153in an Ivory Tower\u00e2\u20ac\u009d –<\/p>\n

– or is the case somewhat brought-down-to-earth,
\nas well?<\/p>\n

Is the presentation some sort of miasma (~ murky, obscuring vapor)<\/p>\n

– or is it actually fairly articulate and systematic?<\/p>\n

Are the themes, however allegedly profound, articulated in a totally obscure manner –<\/p>\n

– or in a generally intelligible manner?<\/p>\n

or does it attempt to get to the very core of the cosmic code?<\/p>\n

Does the proposed metaphysics primarily concern itself with playing with SEMANTICS and DEFINITIONS –<\/p>\n

or does it actually provide an overarching INTEGRATED FORMULATION for the cosmic order?<\/p>\n

*<\/div>\n

A proposed metaphysics must be assessed, as well,
\nby these not inconsiderable \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and, frankly, non-negotiable, demands, as well:<\/p>\n

Does the proposed metaphysics truly embrace all known dynamics \u00e2\u20ac\u201c in all fields?<\/p>\n

Does the proposed metaphysics embrace our experiences and accumulated wisdom over the centuries?<\/p>\n

Does the metaphysics embrace all that we scientifically believe to have occurred \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and the overwhelming great bulk of what we hypothesize to have occurred \u00e2\u20ac\u201c since the dawn of time?<\/p>\n

Does the particular proposed metaphysics \u00e2\u20ac\u201c about our most extraordinary universe and profound existence \u00e2\u20ac\u201c<\/p>\n

run flat and dry<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u201c or does it, on some level,<\/p>\n

actually, touch our soul?<\/p>\n
