Menahem Mendel of Lubavich observes (<em>Derekh Mitzvotekha<\/em> (1911), 123) that the disciples of the Ba\u00e2\u20ac\u2122al Shem Tov gave the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153very profound\u00e2\u20ac\u009d turn to the doctrine of the oneness of God so that it means not alone that He is unique, as the medieval thinkers said, but that He is all that is:\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6there is no other existence whatsoever apart from His existence, blessed be He. This is true unification\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6just as there was no existence apart from Him before the world was created so it is even now.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6as a corollary of hasidic pantheism (more correctly, panentheism)\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/summametaphysica.com\/gg\/50vert.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>(author\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s note: there are no extant writings of the Besht)<\/p>\n<p>(see also  Appendix F:  Hasidic  v.
