Jews today who reject agnosticism and choose a religious approach to life are reaching out for the spirituality of Jewish religious life, which will hopefully satisfy both their spiritual striving and the demands of their intellect. This quest for intellectual rigor in Jewish philosophy is basic in Judaism.
Thus, if one takes the step of choosing a generally religious approach to life, one must still seek to examine the religious and philosophical parameters of this life.
The purpose of this work is to present a unified theological formulation palatable to religious “man of reason” but falling within the framework of Jewish theological tradition.
